Children's Programming

We are excited to offer Animal Adventures for Sunday morning religious education this summer! Class starts June 18, 2023 at 10:30 am! During the summer, all children and youth (preschool-8th grade) will meet together in the big RE classroom in the church building. Nursery will still be offered for infant-preschool. If you have an older youth, speak with DLE Courtney Sinha about opportunities for them this summer. 

We will be going on an Animal Adventure together this summer! We are excited about the many guest speakers who have agreed to visit our classroom this year! We will be learning about horses, donkeys, chickens, dogs, cats, bugs, opossums, and many more critters. Each week will features opportunities for movement, music, arts and crafts, and other learning avenues all about the featured animal. Watch for an email from the DLE for more information about the weekly learning opportunities, as well as two exciting field trips we will be taking this summer! In July (exact date TBD), we will be traveling to Wisdom Spirit Farm to see horses and chickens and relax and play in a fun and beautiful outdoor environment. And we will close out our summer of learning on August 27 with a trip to Possum Hollow to visit the many creatures who live there, explore the outdoor labyrinth, and enjoy a picnic lunch. 

There will be no religious education on September 3, 2023 as that day is set aside each year for our Labor Day Church Cleaning party. All members, friends, and visitors are invited to join us for a full day of deep cleaning our church and sprucing up the grounds. The work day will be broken up with a midday picnic.
