Once a month, on the second Thursday evening of the month, we gather in Drysdale Hall to view a "MUUvie" that matters - a documentary focusing on a social justice or environmental justice or human rights challenge about which we as Unitarian Universalist want to learn more.   We always have time the movie for reflecting on its meaning for us locally, nationally, globally.  We hope you will join us.

Please be in touch with Makanah and Bob Morriss at revs2uu@aol.com for more information or the zoom meeting link.

We have a special eco-oriented MUUvies that Matter for March 12 at 7 p.m: “Flyways.”

Each year there is a marathon global migration of shorebirds. They follow ancient atmospheric routes called “flyways” which can stretch thousands or tens of thousands of miles. Their annual journeys are epic. And yet the world beneath their wings is changing and tells us the world is in trouble.

In this PBS Nature documentary, we will follow a conservation movement of bird-loving experts and citizen scientists as they mobilize to the challenge of understanding and saving shorebirds.

This is sure to be an informative and breath-taking film. We hope you can join us via Zoom for the movie and discussion following. Contact Makanah/Bob Morriss at revs2uu@aol.com for the Zoom link
