EMERGENCY FUEL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY
( E.F.A.P.E.)
EFAPE (Emergency Fuel Assistance Program for the Elderly.) This program provides
emergency assistance to elderly persons who can not purchase basic heating during the
winter months. This program was administered by the First Unitarian Church of Lynchburg
for many years.
The program is now part of the
Interfaith Outreach Association.
